We all know that we need to move our bodies in an active manner each day in order to maintain an optimal level of health. That would be the nicer way of putting the idea of exercise forth, but when it comes to getting actual exercise done, many of us do find more excuses than reasons. What if you are a shy person and generally prefer the creature comforts of your own home? Sure, you can get one of those Peloton machines, or if you find freedom in running, then hit the treadmill, but those tend to lack a degree of human touch, if at all. Enter Mirror, an actual mirror for you to preen yourself in the mornings, and yet it comes with high-powered technology within.
The Mirror’s panel is a liquid crystal display (LCD) that comes complete with stereo speakers, a camera, and a piece of custom software, all running off an unidentified quad-core processor underneath the hood. Connectivity options include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, enabling you to hook it up to different kinds of monitoring devices as well as stream classes from Mirror.
Mirror’s classes are pretty much what you will find in a well equipped fitness studio or gym: they include cardio, yoga, strength, barre, boxing, stretch, and pilates. Depending on your current fitness level and objective, you will be able to check out different levels with each class. The Mirror connected display will cost you $1,495 upfront, certainly making you wish more than seven years of bad luck on someone who breaks it by accident. You’re better off getting a cheap, regular mirror from Ikea if you do not want to add on $39 monthly for the classes.
The Mirror stands at 52-inches in height, and you have the option to mount it to a wall or have it rest on a metal stand. As at press time, it is controlled via an iOS companion app, with no sign of Android support arriving in the future.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you thought, “Boy, do I wish I had a torch or light source of some sort?” For the ladies, it would most probably happen when you are rummaging through your handbag during the girls’ night out, especially when you are at the cinema or at a club. The guys? Well, guys won’t need a reason to own a light source, as they can always think of different ways to amuse themselves with one especially when drunk. NEBO has come up with something unique that virtually everyone should have: the Mycro pocket light. After all, you can never quite tell just when you would actually require the services of such a tiny pocket light, especially during an urgent situation or in an emergency, right?
The Mycro is deemed to be an impossibly bright and unbelievably small pocket light. Just how small is it? Small enough to be easily misplaced, being roughly the size of a thumb. Despite its diminutive form factor, the Mycro pocket light is still able to pack in up to a whopping 400 lumens of brilliant bright light when you switch to Turbo mode. Needless to say, when it is in Turbo mode, the battery will drain faster than normal, but if you were to turn off Turbo mode, it is still more than capable of providing an adequate degree of brightness in order to help you search for whatever you are looking for, without taking up much space.
Touted to be an LED lighting technology breakthrough, NEBO claims that the Mycro pocket light is the smallest, most powerful flashlight available today. It is fully rechargeable (thankfully!) and boasts of half a dozen unique light modes. Two of these include low light color options (green and red). You can always opt to conceal in your hand, fit on a key ring or in a purse, thanks to the accompanying lanyard and a stainless steel necklace. The Mycro pocket light will retail for $29.95 a pop, arriving in Red, Black or Silver colors with an accompanying one year warranty.
